About the job

Our Client is a digital banking platform for businesses and individuals in sectors that traditional banks decline. Customers get a full account: EU IBAN, virtual Mastercard, instant and SEPA transfers, bulk payouts and direct platform integrations.

The product is in development and close to launch. This role builds the acquisition channels and early adopter base from scratch.

The role

One of two business development roles. The other works in person at events and client meetings. This one works online: outreach, paid media, affiliates, content, SEO and community. Leads that need a face to face conversation are passed to the field side.

Sectors

Our client serves a wide range of industries. The main ones for this role are:

• Adult and content creation. Cam models, OnlyFans and Fanvue creators, creator agencies, studios, adult sites and affiliates.
• iGaming and betting. Licensed gambling operators, affiliates, sports betting, spread betting, binary options.
• Crypto, blockchain and forex. Exchanges, OTC desks, Web3 businesses, forex platforms, traders.
• Payments infrastructure. PSPs, payment orchestrators, corporate service providers.

This list is not exhaustive. Google and Meta restrict or ban most of these verticals, so the candidate needs to know the channels that work in them.

Responsibilities

• Run outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, Telegram, X, Discord and industry forums. Build the lists, write the sequences, test and iterate.
• Buy media on networks that accept these verticals, including adult and iGaming ad networks, industry publications and sponsorships.
• Build and run the affiliate and referral programme.
• Own SEO and content, including the industry and customer profile pages.
• Build presence in the communities these customers already use.
• Qualify leads and hand over the ones that need in person follow up.
• Report on cost per lead, cost per opened account and channel performance by sector.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years in digital marketing, growth or outbound sales, ideally within adult, iGaming, crypto, forex or affiliate marketing.
• Experience running campaigns in restricted verticals, and knowledge of the ad networks, affiliate networks and publications that serve them.
• Hands on with outreach tooling, list building, email deliverability and CRM.
• Able to report on what a channel costs and what it returns.
• Copywriting for outreach and landing pages.
• Willing to be publicly associated with  these sectors.
• Fluent English.

Desirable

• Existing affiliate or agency relationships in one or more target sectors.
• Experience marketing a financial or payments product.
• SEO experience on a large site.
• Paid social and native buying experience.
• A second language relevant to the target markets.
• Working pattern

Working pattern

• Office based, with occasional travel for meetings and events. Occasional working from home where the schedule allows. This is not a remote role.
• We will not be assisting with relocation. Applicants must have the right to reside and work in Cyprus.
