Overview

Group 1 GMC Southwest is looking to add a qualified Certified Diesel Technician to our team!Are you an experienced Diesel Technician ready to advance your career? Are you ready to work in a technician-focused environment with strong earnings potential? If so, we want to meet you. Apply now!

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and accurate work in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality work
• Maintain an organized shop area
• Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of service work
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of Diesel Technician experience strongly preferred
• ASE certification(s) in brakes, electrical/electronic systems, or engine performance preferred
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Strong focus on delivering an excellent customer service experience
• High attention to detail
