Diesel Reefer Technician

Miller Transportation Group is immediately hiring a Diesel Refrigeration/Reefer Technician for our Miller Truck Leasing division in Newburgh, NY.  With over 100 years of experience and upwards of 8,000 trucks on the road, Miller currently operates over 40 Diesel Maintenance shops throughout KY, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, and NH. You Will:

• Perform general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 refrigeration vehicles

• Diagnose, document, and repair refrigeration equipment following proper warranty procedures.
• ThermoKing experience highly preferable

You Have:

• 3 or more years experience working on a Refrigerated Units and/or have a valid 608 certification

• Strong diagnostic skills
• Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors
• A valid CDL (Class A or B) or the ability to acquire a Commercial Driver License with the assistance of our trainer
• Hand tools

FLEXIBLE ON SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday on 1st Shift OR 4 - "10" Hour Shifts, etc. Flexible for the right person

• Competitive compensation: $40-$50 per hour with minimum 5 years verifiable Reefer experience
