Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, automating, monitoring, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of our applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in AWS, Linux, Docker, CI/CD, and Production Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities 

    Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS. 

    Manage Linux servers, networking, security groups, and system administration. 

    Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. 

    Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Docker Compose. 

    Configure and manage Nginx, SSL certificates, DNS, and reverse proxies. 

    Monitor servers, applications, and infrastructure using monitoring and logging tools. 

    Perform infrastructure scaling, optimization, backup, and disaster recovery planning. 

    Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. 

    Automate operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure automation tools. 

    Collaborate closely with development teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability. 

    Maintain infrastructure documentation and deployment procedures. 

    Participate in production releases and on-call support when required. 

Requirements 

    3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering. 

    Hands-on experience managing production environments on AWS. 

    Strong knowledge of Linux, Docker, CI/CD, networking, and security. 

    Experience troubleshooting production systems and deployment issues. 

    Strong scripting and automation skills. 

    Experience working with Git-based development workflows. 

    MERN stack or backend development experience is preferred but not mandatory. 

    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ALB, CloudWatch)

    Operating Systems: Linux Administration

    Containerization: Docker, Docker Compose

    Web Servers: Nginx

    Version Control: Git, GitHub

    CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent

    Automation & Scripting: Bash, Shell Scripting, Python, or JavaScript for Automation

    Networking & Security: DNS, SSL/TLS, Domain Management, VPC, Security Groups, Firewalls

    Caching & Messaging: Redis, Kafka (or other Message Brokers)

    Monitoring & Logging: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (or equivalent)

    Infrastructure Management: Infrastructure Troubleshooting, Performance Optimization, High Availability, Scalability, and Disaster Recovery

Good To Have: 

While this role primarily focuses on DevOps and Infrastructure, candidates with software development experience will be given preference. Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js, React.js, MongoDB, REST APIs, and Git workflows is an added advantage.

Exposure to Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, IaC, Microservices, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Socket.IO, MQTT, and high-availability, scalable production environments is desirable.
