Job Description

• Acts as the technical authority within the Heatcell development domain, providing system-level expertise, driving engineering excellence, and strengthening organizational competencies through technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
• Provide expert guidance on complex Heatcell development topics and system-level interactions.
• Drive robust and innovative engineering solutions aligned with product requirements, standards, and long-term technology strategy.
• Develop, maintain, and promote engineering best practices, design guidelines, and technical methodologies.
• Lead and support complex technical investigations, risk assessments, and root cause analyses.
• Consolidate and connect knowledge across different technical domains into a coherent system understanding.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering competency development and technical excellence across the organization.
• Support cross-functional and international projects as a trusted technical advisor.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps, continuous improvement initiatives, and the evolution of engineering standards.
• Acts as the recognized technical authority within the HeatCell domain.
• Connects fragmented expertise into an integrated system perspective.
• Raises technical competency across teams through mentoring and guidance.
• Influences engineering practices, standards, and technology direction beyond individual projects.
• Strengthens long-term organizational capability through knowledge sharing, technical leadership, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in Heatcell development and HVAC engineering.
• Deep understanding of Heatcell technologies and their interaction with overall appliance functionality.
• Strong knowledge of applicable engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, analytical thinking, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to mentor others and build organizational capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment. 
• Able to work within international project teams with very good communication skills.
