Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Design Engineer with good knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks to support the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and machinery. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D drawings and 3D models, modifying existing designs, preparing engineering documentation, and coordinating with production and other engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD as per engineering requirements.
• Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
• Prepare manufacturing and fabrication drawings with appropriate dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
• Convert concepts, sketches, and customer requirements into detailed engineering designs.
• Modify existing drawings and designs based on engineering or production requirements.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and other engineering documentation.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards and applicable engineering practices.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, and other departments for design-related requirements.
• Review drawings for accuracy, manufacturability, and dimensional correctness before release.
• Assist in resolving design and manufacturing-related technical issues.
• Maintain proper revision control and documentation of drawings and design files.
• Support the development and improvement of existing machinery/components.
• Participate in design review meetings and implement required changes.
• Maintain organized records of CAD files, drawings, BOMs, and technical documents.
