About this role
Role Description
As a Design Engineer, you will provide initial design support to partners, working closely with the Business Development and Sales teams
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Business Development and Sales teams to handle design and review requests from customers and partners
- Support fire alarm and fire suppression design request or design review from customers or partners
- Create AutoCAD drawings from scratch or modify existing ones to meet project requirements.
- Convert single-line diagrams from competitor brands to Hochiki systems (when required)
- Provide additional design support for systems such as water cannon, fire suppression, and air sampling systems
Education/Experience / Knowledge/Skill requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience in the fire detection industry is an advantage
- Familiarity with NFPA standards (NFPA 101, NFPA 72, NFPA 2001, NFPA 2010)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields) & TCVN certification
- At least 2-3 years of experience working with TCVN codes
- Fluent in English to communicate with regional colleagues
- Solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering principles
- Possession of a Fire Prevention & Fighting certificate issued by the Vietnam Fire Police Department will be considered an advantage.
- Possession of CAD or Revit training/certification will be considered an added advantage
