About this role
Clinical Nursing & Patient Care
- Ensure delivery of safe, compassionate and evidence-based nursing care.
- Supervise nursing activities and ensure appropriate implementation of nursing care plans.
- Monitor patient assessment, documentation, medication administration and clinical interventions.
- Ensure timely escalation of changes in patient condition to the treating physician and nursing leadership.
- Support management of critically ill, high-risk and deteriorating patients as per hospital protocols.
- Ensure compliance with patient identification, medication safety, falls prevention and other patient-safety practices.
- Promote continuity of care during admission, transfer and discharge.
2. Clinical Supervision
- Provide clinical guidance and support to Nursing Officers, Staff Nurses and Nurse Associates.
- Monitor competency and clinical performance of nursing personnel.
- Conduct clinical rounds and identify gaps in nursing practice.
- Support staff in managing complex clinical situations and procedures.
- Ensure appropriate delegation of nursing responsibilities based on competency and patient acuity.
- Act as a clinical resource person for nursing staff.
