Are you an experienced Dental Assistant looking for a stable, part-time opportunity with a friendly and supportive team?

Evatt Dental Care is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team 4 days per week. The exact days are still being finalised as we work through our clinician schedules, so there is some flexibility around which days you will work.

Job Description

As a Dental Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring our patients receive an excellent experience. Your responsibilities will include:

• Chairside assisting across a range of dental procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and equipment
• Cleaning and sterilising instruments in line with infection control requirements
• Preparing and maintaining clinical supplies and equipment
• Supporting clinicians during procedures
• Providing a warm and welcoming experience for patients
• Maintaining accurate clinical records
• Assisting with stock control and ordering as required
• Maintaining a clean, organised and well-presented clinical environment
• Supporting reception and front-of-house duties when required
• Working collaboratively with the wider practice team to ensure the day runs smoothly

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who is:

• An experienced Dental Assistant
• Confident assisting clinicians across a range of procedures
• D4W and dental reception experience highly desirable
• Well organised, reliable and professional
• Friendly and confident when interacting with patients
• Comfortable working in a busy dental practice
• A positive team player who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed
