NOV Pressure Control Group is currently recruiting for two Deburr Technicians to join our team at 12950 West Little York Road. The main responsibilities of this role include:

JOB SUMMARY

Set up and operate all equipment required to turn, broach and balance impellors.

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

 

  • Read and comprehend blueprint on work piece.
  • Lift, position and secure work piece as needed to turn or balance.
  • Make manual adjustments by grinding or drilling.
  • Check and inspect work for conformity to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Assist in a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed.
  • Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Work under immediate supervision.
  • Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends when needed, sometimes on short notice.

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior machine shop experience working in deburr, grinding, buffing, and blending finish machines parts.
