Job Summary
| The Sustainability SME provides expertise in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) programs, carbon accounting, energy management, sustainability reporting, and Net Zero initiatives. The role supports sustainability strategy development, implementation, compliance, analytics, and continuous improvement during the customer engagement |
Key Responsibilities
| Sustainability Strategy & Advisory |
| Define and drive sustainability initiatives aligned with customer objectives. |
| Advise stakeholders on ESG frameworks, sustainability best practices, and regulatory requirements. |
| Support Net Zero, carbon reduction, circular economy, and resource optimization initiatives. |
| Conduct sustainability assessments, maturity evaluations, and gap analyses. |
| ESG & Compliance Management |
| Interpret and implement sustainability frameworks and reporting standards. |
| Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations and sustainability policies. |
| Support audits, certifications, and sustainability disclosures. |
| Data Analytics & Reporting |
| Define sustainability KPIs and performance metrics. |
| Analyze energy, water, waste, and emissions data. |
| Develop sustainability dashboards, reports, and executive summaries. |
| Track Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions performance and reduction targets. |
| Program & Stakeholder Management |
| Collaborate with business, operations, facilities, procurement, and technology teams. |
| Conduct sustainability workshops and awareness programs. |
| Present sustainability progress and recommendations to leadership and customers. |
| Support sustainability-related customer engagements, RFPs, and transformation programs. |
| Technology & Sustainability Solutions |
| Support implementation of NIO sustainability platform. |
| Drive integration of sustainability data from ERP, Nexthink, BMS, and other operational systems. |
| Recommend AI, analytics, and automation opportunities to improve sustainability performance. |
Skill Requirements
| Strong knowledge of Sustainability Domain |
| ESG Frameworks (GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD, SBTi, CSRD) |
| Carbon Accounting and GHG Protocol |
| Energy, Waste, Water, and Emissions Management |
| Sustainability Reporting and Analytics |
| Data Analysis and Dashboarding (Grafana, Power BI, Tableau, Excel) |
| Sustainability Regulations and Compliance |
| Strong communication and presentation skills. |
