Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Cybersecurity Solutions Lead. This is a senior strategic and technical leadership role responsible for driving business development, presales excellence, and solution architecture across the cybersecurity domain. This role combines deep cybersecurity expertise with commercial awareness to shape, present, and deliver comprehensive security solutions that help organizations protect their digital assets, meet regulatory obligations, and build resilient security operating models. The role includes responsibility for network security, endpoint protection, identity and access management, threat intelligence and detection, cloud security, risk and compliance frameworks, and managed security services.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Work closely with the Executive Director to shape and progressively execute the cybersecurity domain strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market approach, aligned with organisational priorities and the evolving threat landscape.
- Lead the solutioning of cybersecurity and zero-trust architectures, addressing key areas such as network access, identity, and threat detection and response.
- Provide cybersecurity leadership and solution guidance for security transformation initiatives across clients, including posture assessments, compliance programmes, and the adoption of modern security operating models.
- Align cybersecurity solutions with broader digital transformation goals, cloud adoption strategies, and emerging regulatory requirements.
Business Development & Client Engagement
- Contribute as a senior technical authority to client engagements, RFP responses, solution shaping, and proposal development, with the ability to progressively assume greater ownership.
- Support business development and sales teams by articulating cybersecurity value propositions, addressing technical questions, and leading client-facing presentations and workshops.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity platform and technology ecosystem partners to support solution development, market positioning, and relevant go-to-market opportunities.
- Engage with senior Quento and client stakeholders to assess and shape security postures, compliance strategies, transformation priorities, and target security architectures.
Solution Architecture & Design
- Design end-to-end security architectures spanning threat modelling, zero-trust principles, detection and response, vulnerability management, and continuous security validation.
- Develop cloud security architectures incorporating Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Cloud Workload Protection Platforms (CWPP), and multi-cloud security governance.
- Define compliance and regulatory frameworks aligned with applicable standards and directives, such as NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, GDPR, and the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) etc.
- Provide architectural guidance in enterprise-scale security transformation and managed security service programmes.
Technical Leadership & Governance
- Contribute to establishing and promoting security engineering standards, architecture principles, and security-by-design practices within the cybersecurity domain.
- Guide the adoption of threat intelligence frameworks (e.g. MITRE ATT&CK) and oversee the integration of security controls into the domain's Cybersecurity solution designs, in collaboration with adjacent technology teams.
- Partner with Cloud & Infrastructure, Application Development, and Data & AI solution teams to help embed security, resilience, and governance into solution design from inception.
- Support the oversight of cybersecurity engagements, helping ensure alignment with client risk objectives, regulatory requirements, and agreed solution and delivery standards.
Other
- Support the development of cybersecurity solution architects, incident response consultants, and security specialists as the domain grows.
- Promote continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and relevant professional development across cybersecurity, cloud security, architecture, and compliance disciplines.
- Participate in and contribute to technology, innovation, and research discussions relevant to the domain.
- Promote strong practices in threat-informed security, continuous monitoring, engineering rigour, and security innovation across relevant teams.
- Help develop and maintain reusable assets, reference architectures, compliance accelerators, and domain knowledge repositories.
- Actively ensuring compliance with the Group's Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy and all applicable regulations, identifying and reporting potential risks related to bribery and corruption, and promoting ethical behavior by participating in and encouraging continuous training and awareness initiatives.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with specialisation in Cybersecurity.
- Master's degree in Information Systems or a relevant advanced technical field is preferred.
- Relevant industry-recognised certifications in cybersecurity or security architecture are expected, although equivalent depth of hands-on experience may be considered. CISSP and/or CISM are strongly preferred.
- Additional certifications in cloud security (e.g. AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer) or audit and compliance (e.g. CISA) are considered an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- At least 10 years of combined experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT infrastructure, or related technical fields.
- Experience in leadership, senior technical, client-facing, or advisory roles, with demonstrated responsibility for security strategy, architecture, governance, or transformation.
- Experience in presales, solutioning, business development support, advisory, or vendor/customer-side technology evaluation is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated experience delivering cybersecurity solutions and programmes that drive measurable risk reduction and compliance outcomes in complex enterprise environments.
Technical Experience
- Experience with network security technologies and zero-trust access principles, including next-generation firewalls, segmentation, or comparable platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco, or equivalent solutions;
- Experience with, or strong working knowledge of, endpoint protection platforms such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, or SentinelOne, including detection and response (EDR/XDR/MDR) concepts;
- Experience with enterprise identity and access management, including areas such as single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, privileged access management, or access-control frameworks;
- Experience with SIEM, security monitoring, threat intelligence integration, or SOC-related processes, using platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, or comparable tools;
- Experience with cloud security posture management and governance within at least one major cloud platform (e.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud);
- Experience designing, implementing, or overseeing risk, compliance, and security-governance programmes aligned with frameworks or regulations such as NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, GDPR, or equivalent requirements;
- Experience with vulnerability management and familiarity with penetration testing or continuous security validation practices.
