About the Role

We are hiring Customer Outreach Specialists to join a fast-paced, outbound call center team supporting small and medium-sized business wireless customers.

This is a frontline, phone-heavy role focused on proactively contacting customers to resolve issues, reduce repeat calls, and improve their overall experience. You will not be waiting for customers to call you; you will be initiating the contract.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, confidence on the phone, and the ability to manage conversations and multiple systems at once.

A Day in the Life

In this role, your day is structured and performance driven. You can expect to:

  • Via an outbound dialing system, make calls throughout your shift to customers who have had recent service issues or high contact activity
  • Work through assigned accounts and follow up on open or unresolved concerns
  • Ask questions to understand the root cause of issues and take action to resolve them
  • Navigate multiple systems while speaking with customers and document interactions in real time
  • Handle a mix of customer responses, from appreciative to frustration, while maintaining professionalism
  • Partner with internal teams when needed, while owning the customer experience from start to finish

This is a high-accountability environment where your performance is measured daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to small and medium business customers
  • Proactively identify and resolve customer issues to prevent repeat contacts
  • Complete follow-ups on previously reported concerns to ensure full resolution
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify and address recurring problems
  • Accurately document all customer interactions in CRM systems
  • Deliver a professional, solution-focused experience on every call

Required Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of call center or phone-based customer service experience
  • Comfortable with outbound calling and high call volume environments
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to remain professional and solution-focused in challenging conversations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems

  • Experience with Salesforce, Workflow Management (WFM), or similar systems
  • Previous experience in wireless, telecommunications, or technical support
  • Experience working in a secure or compliance-driven environment
