About this role

We are seeking a Dutch/Flemish Customer Service Specialist to join our dynamic team and support an exciting project within the waste management industry. As part of our team, you'll be representing a leading international brand, providing exceptional support to Dutch-speaking customers. You will work remotely while collaborating with colleagues and clients across Europe.

 

As a Customer Service Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by handling a high volume of inbound customer enquiries via phone and e-mail.
  • Manage an intensive workload of 50–60 inbound customer calls per day, e-mails, Salesforce cases maintaining professionalism, empathy, and efficiency throughout every interaction.
  • Support customers with enquiries relating to waste collection services, schedules, billing, and service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • De-escalate challenging situations and confidently manage conversations with frustrated or dissatisfied customers, always striving for a positive outcome.
  • Be the voice of the brand, delivering a professional, empathetic, and customer-focused experience.
  • Accurately document customer interactions and complete all required administrative tasks in internal systems.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Fluency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
  • Proven experience in a high-volume customer service or contact centre environment is essential.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Experience handling a large number of inbound calls and supporting customers in fast-paced, service-driven environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently manage difficult conversations, resolve complaints, and support frustrated or upset customers with empathy and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong resilience and the ability to remain calm, positive, and focused under pressure while consistently delivering excellent customer service.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • You are located within the EU (due to security requirements).
  • You have a stable, high-speed internet connection at all times.
  • You have a private, dedicated workspace (for security reasons).
  • You are able to adhere strictly to predefined shifts (Mon-Fri, regular business hours).

+ Monthly gross salary of 1850 EUR if you are based in Bulgaria and onboarded on a Bulgarian Employment contract / 2100 EUR if you are on a self-employment contract and based outside of Bulgaria
