Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational requirements and translating them into effective software solutions. The workday includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals and provide seamless functionality. Continuous refinement and adjustment of applications to adapt to evolving business demands are also key aspects of the daily routine, ensuring that the software remains efficient and relevant.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PeopleSoft Administration.
- Experience with system configuration, patching, and troubleshooting within PeopleSoft environments.
- Strong knowledge of application lifecycle management and deployment processes.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to PeopleSoft applications.
- Familiarity with database management and integration techniques relevant to PeopleSoft systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in PeopleSoft Administration.
- This position is based at our DDC2A - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
