Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with evolving business goals and operational workflows. The engineer actively participates in refining application functionalities and optimizing system performance to support seamless business operations throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and project outcomes.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables.
- Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies that can be integrated into current projects.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core Integrations.
- Strong knowledge of integration design patterns and best practices within enterprise environments.
- Experience with application configuration and customization to meet complex business requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues effectively across multiple systems.
- Familiarity with data mapping, transformation, and validation techniques in integration scenarios.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Workday Core Integrations.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
