About this role
Overview
Provides preventive cleaning services for all GGW Federal Agency contracts in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. This position is responsible and will be held accountable for behaving in accordance with divisional and organizational RISE values and expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Report to assigned contract location as assigned by Sr. Director
2. Maintains cleanliness in assigned location/areas of the facility.
3. Performs cleaning duties such as dusting lights, furniture, and other horizontal surfaces, dry mopping hard floor surfaces, vacuuming carpets, emptying and cleaning trash containers and ashtrays, spot cleaning walls and windows, and using the high-speed buffer to burnish hard floor surfaces.
4. Cleans and maintains assigned equipment.
*This position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of up to 40 pounds. Prolonged walking and standing are required as well as frequent bending, reaching and stooping.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Notifies supervisor of equipment and facilities needing repair or replacement.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to travel to various contract sites ongoing: USGS, ALC, FDA, GPO, NGA, Senate, BEP, GSA, JBAB (other sites TBD)
2. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
3. Ability to decipher/comprehend signs indicating danger.
4. Skilled in the knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment such as a scrubber and extractor. 5. Ability to obtain security clearance to work at assigned work site.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Previous custodial experience.
2. Graduate of GGW’s Source America custodial training program.
