AMLI Lex on Orange – Apartment Community

AMLI Residential is looking for a Custodian to join our team at AMLI Lex on Orange in Orange, California. This is a great opportunity to be part of a team that takes pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and high-quality living environment for our residents. Enjoy a stable full-time, day-shift schedule (40 hours per week with no overnight shifts) while working at a beautiful apartment community. Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 7 am - 4 pm

What You'll Do

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, including the leasing office, clubroom, fitness center, restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and other amenity spaces.
• Perform daily trash and recycling collection throughout the community.
• Clean and prepare vacant and model apartments for resident move-ins and tours.
• Wash interior and exterior windows and help ensure all community spaces are neat, clean, and resident-ready.
• Operate and maintain janitorial equipment and supplies in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist with light groundskeeping tasks, including litter removal, sweeping walkways, and maintaining outdoor common areas.
• Support move-out cleaning projects and assist with property inspections as needed.
• Respond to unexpected cleaning needs and assist during weather-related or emergency situations.

What We're Looking For

• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and customer service.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and other janitorial tools.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
