Credit Officer

As a Credit Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing credit-related activities, including evaluating credit applications, assessing financial risk, and making informed credit decisions. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of our back-office functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high standards of customer service.

• Evaluate credit applications and financial statements to determine creditworthiness.
• Conduct thorough credit risk assessments and make informed credit decisions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all credit-related activities.
• Monitor and manage credit limits, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless credit processes and efficient operations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in credit management.
• Provide support and guidance to junior credit officers and assist in their professional development.
• Prepare periodic reports on credit performance and present findings to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to credit operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit analysis or credit management.
• Strong knowledge of credit evaluation techniques and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in using credit analysis software and financial modeling tools.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
