Job Description

PSC Creative College is seeking an experienced Graphic Design educator and industry practitioner to develop engaging online learning content for two foundation-level Diploma of Graphic Design subjects: Typography and Digital Media. Working closely with the course team, you will create practical, industry-relevant learning materials and facilitate two weekly online tutorials that help students build their creative and technical skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging online learning content aligned with subject outcomes and assessments.
  • Create practical activities, demonstrations and resources for foundation-level students.
  • Produce clear guidance across typography, digital media, photography and video workflows.
  • Collaborate with the course team to deliver accurate, accessible and high-quality content.
  • Facilitate two weekly online tutorials, providing demonstrations, critique and student support.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media or a related discipline (postgraduate and/or teaching qualification highly regarded).
  • Proven industry experience in graphic design, typography and digital media, with advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and video editing software.
  • Demonstrated experience writing engaging online learning content, with a strong understanding of online learning design and assessment development.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to deliver live online tutorials, explain technical concepts clearly and support foundation-level learners.
  • Experience teaching in higher or vocational education, using Moodle, and maintaining current industry knowledge and professional standards is highly desirable.

Additional Information

  • Sessional position at 14 hours per week ending 18/12/26
