About this role
Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain contract management systems and databases.
- Assist in reviewing contract documents to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all contract activities.
- Support audits and compliance reviews by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Maintains close, professional interface with internal customer personnel (technical, administrative and business). Interfaces with external customers in coordination with the Contracts Manager.
- Works with internal customers (program managers, program directors, etc. ) ensuring all communication with external customers is concise and consistent from both technical and contractual personnel.
- In coordination with Contracts Manager, reviews, recommends and negotiates Non-Disclosure Agreements, ensuring SNC protection in terms and conditions.
- Tracking, reconciling, closing and reporting Unbilled and Accounts Receivable status; supports in resolution of Invoice issues.
- Tracks and submits Contracts and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documentation.
- Interface with the USG PCOs, negotiating low-dollar/low-complexity contracts
- Perform cradle-to-grave contract actions on low-dollar/low-complexity contracts to include proposal preparation and submission; negotiations; completing TINA certs; signing contracts; contract administration; and contract closeout
- All other appropriate tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Associate's degree in a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
- Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skills to plan, organize, multi-task, prioritize, and execute assigned workload to meet multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Familiarity with government contract requirements and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) regulations.
- Ability to problem solve - applying originality, creativity and initiative.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to work primarily in an office environment.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to travel occasionally (<10%) for training or contract negotiations.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $29.03 - $39.92. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
