Consultant - Analytics

Position Purpose The Consultant – Data Analytics is part of the TTEC Digital Analytics & Insights Experience (AIX) team, responsible for delivering data engineering, analytics, and API solutions that enable clients to transform raw transactional data into scalable, usable data structures and actionable insights. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with solution design, project delivery, mentoring, and client collaboration. The Consultant will work closely with Data Scientists, Project Leads, Managers, and other technical teams across implementation, modernization, migration, and cloud-based data engineering projects. Key Responsibilities Analyze, transform, and structure raw data from multiple sources. Design, develop, and maintain scalable datasets and data pipelines. Improve data quality, reliability, performance, and processing efficiency. Design and implement cloud-based data engineering solutions. Develop solution architecture, technical designs, and implementation documentation. Develop and integrate REST services and APIs. Design, develop, test, and deploy API solutions using Apigee X and/or Apigee Edge. Create and maintain Swagger/OpenAPI specifications. Work with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and big data technologies. Develop and deploy containerized applications in Kubernetes-enabled environments. Implement CI/CD practices using tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins. Work independently on assigned projects while collaborating effectively with larger delivery teams. Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement. Develop internal training materials, technical processes, and best practices. Mentor and cross-train junior engineers and team members. Provide technical guidance and support for complex customer requirements. Participate in solutioning and pre-sales activities, including effort estimation and technical inputs. Collaborate closely with Project Management to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Stay current with emerging cloud, data engineering, API, and analytics technologies. Technical Skills Python: PyData, Pandas, NumPy, PySpark SQL: MS SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata Azure Data Factory Azure Databricks Big Data: Spark, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Kafka DevOps: GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins REST Services & APIs Apigee X and/or Apigee Edge Swagger/OpenAPI Docker & Kubernetes CI/CD Agile/Scrum Experience with one or more of Python, C#, Node.js, or Java Education, Experience & Certifications Bachelor's degree or Post-Secondary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field. Candidates with a degree in an unrelated discipline may also be considered based on relevant technical experience. 5–8 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or a closely related technical discipline. 3+ years of application design and development experience in a cloud environment. 2+ years of experience building and deploying containerized applications in Kubernetes-enabled environments. 2+ years of experience developing REST services and APIs using Python, C#, Node.js, Java, or similar technologies. Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) is preferred. Google Cloud Certified Apigee API Engineer certification is preferred. Preferred Experience Enterprise data engineering or analytics experience. Cloud migration, modernization, and implementation experience. Client-facing experience and strong stakeholder management skills. Experience supporting pre-sales activities and technical estimation. Experience mentoring junior engineers. Exposure to multi-cloud environments is an advantage.
