About this role
Acts as liaison between the business users and IT. Makes recommendations to address specific business needs for IT-based solutions. Collaborates with multiple cross-functional areas - externally and internally - in the implementation of system and business processes. Defines system scopes and objectives, as well as the content of required documentation. Evaluates new software products to determines their applicability to current and future IT environments. Manages vendor relationships, including issue notifications and follow-ups until resolution.
Essential Functions:
Elicit, compile, document, and manage clear and testable functional and technical requirements by being an active leader, using a variety of elicitation methods such as interviewing, workshops, business process, and workflow review.
Analyze, translate, and communicate business, functional and technical requirements back to development team, through detailed flow charts, diagrams, prototypes, use cases, and user stories.
Responsible for highly effective verbal and written communication within the effort (project team, stakeholders, and sponsors), and with leadership, building trusted relationships through assignments.
Perform functional and technical requirements traceability throughout project lifecycle to validate that product meets the approved requirements; manage changing requirements and priorities; support the testing process and traceability through review of test cases.
Responsible for maintaining skills within the profession that will allow for proactive assessment of effort needs and completing business analysis deliverables.
Understand, support, and contribute to organization’s strategy and contribute ideas and feedback within department. - Proficiency in process mapping techniques and methodologies: A strong understanding of process mapping techniques, such as swimlane diagrams, flowcharts, and value stream mapping, is essential for effectively mapping processes in ARIS (Process Modeling tool). Familiarity with various process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma, can also be beneficial.
- Knowledge of how to create and edit process maps, collaborate with team members, and utilize the platform's automation
capabilities.

- Technical aptitude and familiarity with Process Modeling; this includes knowledge of how to create and edit process maps, collaborate with team members, and utilize the platform's automation capabilities.
