We are looking for a creative, data-driven Compensation Analyst to join our team. If you are a problem solver with strong analytical prowess, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for data analytics, this role is for you.

As a Compensation Analyst, you won’t just crunch numbers—you will contribute to the strategic development and implementation of our compensation programs. You will collaborate with team members to develop modern analytic tools, automate legacy processes, and help compose the future of our compensation strategy. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, hardworking, and thrives on building elegant analytical models.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Evolve Compensation Strategy: Help us redefine and evolve how we believe about base, variable, and equity compensation structures.

  • Advanced Analytics: Apply quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify problems, develop hypotheses, and recommend data-backed solutions for compensation programs and processes.

  • Data Visualization & Modeling: Build and develop dynamic dashboards and analytic models to provide actionable business insights and interpret market or internal trends.

  • Workday Optimization: Partner with the HRIS/Systems team to implement, test, and define requirements for Workday performance and compensation modules, ensuring seamless updates to structures and job profiles.

  • Drive Automation: Streamline and automate monthly, quarterly, and annual compensation reporting and analysis using modern data tools and AI workflows.

  • Market Benchmarking: Conduct global market benchmarking, assess peer groups, and ensure consistent market pricing practices while maintaining internal equity.

  • Storytelling with Data: Provide sophisticated compensation analytics, clearly conveying complex findings and recommendations to collaborators.

What We Need to See:

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in a quantitative-focused major (e.g., Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics) or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of dedicated, progressive experience in Compensation.

  • Core Tech Stack: Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, VBA, Power Query) and a strong working knowledge of HRIS systems (preferably Workday).

  • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives.

  • Soft Skills: High learning agility, flexibility, and unmatched quantitative problem-solving skills.

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

  • AI & Automation Savvy: Experience bringing to bear AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT Advanced Data Analysis, Microsoft Copilot) to accelerate data cleaning, script writing, and compensation reporting.

  • BI & Visualization: Proven experience building interactive dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or other advanced analytic platforms.

  • Coding & Automation: Familiarity with Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and automating repetitive workflows.

  • Project Mastery: Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills with a track record of driving initiatives from concept to completion.

  • Scalable Processes: Demonstrated experience developing and implementing scalable, repeatable processes backed by detailed ongoing documentation.
