Job Description
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the daily operations of the Room Service Kitchen.
- Ensure all room service orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow HACCP and food safety regulations at all times.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and stock levels.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies.
- Support senior chefs in food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, hygiene standards, and health regulations.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Commis I or similar role in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Experience in room service, à la carte, or hot kitchen operations is an advantage.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
