A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items according to established recipes and standards 
• Preparing ingredients, mise en place, and workstation set-up for daily operations 
• Supporting the Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie in the smooth operation of the kitchen 
• Maintaining consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation 
• Ensuring all food is prepared and served in a timely manner 
• Following HACCP, food safety, and hygiene procedures at all times 
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, equipment, and storage facilities 
• Assisting with stock rotation, inventory control, and minimizing food waste 
• Supporting banquet, catering, and special event operations as required 
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding guest experiences

 

What we need from you

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or relevant culinary experience in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment 
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations 
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards 
• Passion for food and a willingness to learn and develop professionally 
• Strong teamwork and communication skills 
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering quality results 
• Culinary qualification or vocational training preferred
