Responsibilities
This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving sales effectiveness, performance insights, and execution excellence across Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, and in partnership with Treasury Management (TM), Merchant Services (MS), and Financial Institutions Group (FIG). They are responsible for building and leading a high-performing team that bridges strategy, data, and execution across all assigned Commercial business lines – the team is focused on translating data into business outcomes, supporting sales and product metrics, and enabling Commercial Relationship Managers (RM) and Treasury Management Consultants (TMC) grow revenue and deepen client relationships.
The role partners closely with sales leaders, training teams, and product owners to develop comprehensive rollout plans – translate data into actionable insights, integrated go-to-market strategies, and performance analytics to optimize RM/TMC performance through aligned processes and tools. It serves as a connector across the organization aligning priorities, driving execution, and influencing key decisions with actionable insights.
They blend analytics, field enablement, and strategic influence, supporting sales growth and operational excellence across complex commercial and institutional client segments.
Additionally, as needed and/or when appropriate, this role will help drive critical enterprise and Commercial and Treasury Management initiatives as assigned by executive leadership, Specifically, ongoing enablement and optimization efforts. This role will lead high-impact special projects and support enterprise-level and/or Commercial initiatives that enhance the client and RM/TMC experience, including post-merger integrations and future-state operating model design.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $127,900. - $258,600. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.
Key Accountabilities
Sales Enablement & Field Collaboration
- Partner with sales and training leaders to develop comprehensive rollout strategies and enablement plans that support banker readiness and revenue growth.
- Align go-to-market messaging and sales collateral across Commercial including Treasury Management, Merchant Services, and Financial Institutions.
- Serve as a voice of the field to ensure enablement resources are timely, practical, and aligned to banker workflows and customer needs.
Performance Optimization & Analytics
- Define, track, and analyze KPIs across product lines and sales channels to assess performance, uncover insights, and recommend strategic actions.
- Use data to influence investment decisions, resource allocation, banker capacity models, and customer segmentation strategies.
- Develop dashboards, performance reporting, and insights that support accountability, transparency, and results.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead a cross-functional team of analysts, enablement strategists, and business support professionals focused on driving measurable impact.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture that emphasizes continuous improvement, customer centricity, and execution excellence.
- Act as a strategic advisor to executives and sales leaders, providing regular insights and performance readouts.
Strategic Projects & Initiatives
- Serve as a trusted resource for high-impact initiatives and special projects spanning sales, product, and operational improvement efforts.
- Support executive-sponsored transformation efforts and cross-functional pilots that improve the customer and banker experience.
- Lead or participate in post-merger integration projects, business line optimization efforts, or future-state operating model development.
Cross-Functional Influence
- Serve as a connector across product, operations, marketing, technology, and training ensuring alignment and joint execution on key priorities.
- Create and support strategic communications and executive updates with clarity, credibility, and confidence.
- Promote adoption of digital tools, CRM systems, and modern sales practices.
Optimization Initiatives
- Operational Risk associated with service level performance, operational losses, critical process breakdowns or material operational issues
- Oversee audits, as appropriate, throughout Commercial including but not limited to ACH, Treasury Management & SOX
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned in response to heightened standards

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Communications or related field or HS diploma/GED with equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in sales enablement, product management, Commercial Banking, Treasury Management, or Financial Services strategy, products and services
- Ability to successfully partner with cross-functional teams made up of business line stakeholders, user experience, technology, operations, customer service, risk management, legal/compliance, and data teams; may drive enterprise-level initiatives.
- Deep understanding of Commercial, TM, MS, and FIG workflows, product positioning, and go-to-market execution.
- Great attention to detail, thoroughness, and soundness in written documentation as well as in the analytical review of data.
- Experience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environment.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with a track record of using data to influence outcomes.
- Ability to influence and build relationships with business line partners, stakeholders, technology leadership, and external partners.
