About this role

Hourly Pay Range:

$61.54 - $81.73 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Hourly Pay Range:

·     2 - year guarantee. As a valued member of an integrated team, your placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to FTE, prior experience, certifications, degrees, subspecialties, projected volumes, and quality performance.

·     Productivity incentive eligible.


Position Highlights

  • Position: Certified Nurse Midwife - Full Scope (Clinic & Hospital Coverage) - Medical Group
  • Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time average of 40 hours/wk. Part-time FTE available.
  • Hours: Rotating schedule including evenings, weekends, nights, and call.
  • Required Travel: Practicing at NCH with various outpatient locations.
  • Outpatient, Inpatient, Hybrid: Hybrid



Job Description

  • Full scope independent nurse midwifery practice that includes obstetrical and gynecological care.
  • Collaborating with obstetricians, neonatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete patient records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and care plans.
  • Participating in community outreach and education programs related to women's health and midwifery care.
  • Ability to meet practice needs.

Qualifications:

  • License: APRN or FPA Licensure in the State of IL required; Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required.
  • Education: Completion of Master's level program in specialty area. Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) - American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) Required
  • Certification: CNM, BLS for Healthcare Provider, and NRP certifications required (AHA)
  • Experience: 3 Years’ Experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife in a clinical setting preferred.

  • Fluency in Spanish or Urdu highly preferred
