About this role

We’re hiring an experienced CNC Programmer to join a new, state-of-the-art precision manufacturing facility in Horsham, PA.

This is an opportunity to work on complex, close-tolerance components using advanced CNC equipment and modern programming technology. You’ll develop complete machining processes using Mastercam, working closely with machinists and engineering from initial programming through prove-out, optimization, and production.

This is an excellent fit for a programmer who enjoys solving difficult machining problems and wants ownership beyond simply creating toolpaths.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and optimize multi-axis CNC milling programs using Mastercam
  • Program 5-axis 3+2 machining, with simultaneous 5-axis experience highly valued
  • Develop machining strategies from engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T
  • Use Vericut to simulate and validate programs before machining
  • Determine tooling, workholding, speeds, feeds, cutting strategies, and machining sequences
  • Design fixtures and workholding using SolidWorks and/or Mastercam
  • Perform program reviews, prove-outs, test cuts, and troubleshooting
  • Incorporate probing routines and in-process validation into CNC programs
  • Troubleshoot programming, tooling, dimensional, and machining issues
  • Support machinists through setup, prove-out, and production
  • Improve cycle times, tool life, process reliability, and machining efficiency
  • Help develop and standardize programming and machining best practices

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of Mastercam experience preferred
  • Experience programming multi-axis CNC mills
  • Hands-on experience with 5-axis 3+2 machining
  • Background in complex, close-tolerance precision machining
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings
  • Strong knowledge of tooling, speeds and feeds, workholding, and machining fundamentals
  • Ability to troubleshoot machining processes, not just generate programs
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to own projects from initial programming through successful production

Additional Experience That Stands Out

  • Simultaneous 5-axis programming
  • Vericut
  • SolidWorks
  • Fixture and workholding design
  • CNC probing and in-process inspection
  • Custom Macro B programming
  • Advanced machining and process development
