About this role

ABOUT US

At Sprinter Health, our mission is to dramatically expand access to healthcare by reimagining the patient experience—delivered at home and powered by technology for scale.

We’re building the technology and clinical services platform to make preventive, connected healthcare accessible for everyone in the US. We deliver hybrid care (in-home + virtual) backed by data products across 15+ states, serving 60%+ of the US population through major health plans and systems. With 1M+ patients and 92+ NPS, we’re rapidly scaling our impact. Our team of technologists, clinicians, and operators is backed by investors including a16z, General Catalyst, GV, and Accel.

We have a rapidly growing team of visionary leaders who are passionate about increasing access to care, lowering healthcare costs, and improving outcomes for patients.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are growing rapidly and are looking for a Clinical Operations Liaison to support our clinical leaders as we scale our field operations and clinical teams. You’ll be the connective thread between our NPs and Sprinters (our clinician field staff) and the operational systems that keep them paid, trained, and compliant — handling workforce tracking, payroll compliance follow-up, documentation review, and reporting so clinical leadership can stay focused on patient care, clinical support, and clinical oversight.

We’re not just looking for someone to execute a checklist. As we scale, we want someone who notices where a workflow is clunky, a tracker is out of date, or a process could run smoother — and speaks up about it. You’ll have real opportunities to help shape how these processes evolve.

This is a remote full-time position. This role reports to the Director of Quality & Training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Workforce & Payroll Compliance

  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for NPs and Sprinters on timesheet, mileage, and documentation questions

  • Follow up with field employees on timesheet submissions, PTO entries and approval, and sick time to ensure accuracy before each payroll close

  • Validate weekly mileage and hours are submitted in accordance with policy and protocols

  • Review and abstract supporting documentation for mileage and time submissions

  • Approve expenses within set parameters

  • Data pulls and tracking for peer audits, bonus incentives

  • Deliver a weekly exception report to each manager — escalations only, with full documentation

  • Other duties as assigned

Workforce Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain clinical employee attendance, call-off, and workforce planning trackers

  • Track training completion in Sprinter University and annual compliance for clinical teams

  • Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports for your assigned clinical area

  • Support logistical planning for workforce

  • Maintain dashboards, trackers, and workforce metrics

  • Other duties as assigned

Escalation & Program Support

  • Manage administrative escalation trackers and ensure timely follow-up on open items

  • Route non-clinical operational issues to appropriate teams

  • Maintain SOPs, workflows, and operational documentation

  • Track project milestones and action items; support new workflow launches as directed by the In-Home Director

Compliance & Quality

  • Participate in internal audits; identify documentation gaps and recommend process improvements

  • Flag recurring issues or inefficiencies in existing workflows and propose fixes to your manager

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA and compliance standards

YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF

  • You take pride in accuracy and integrity, finding satisfaction in getting every detail right

  • You’re motivated by mission as much as metrics — knowing your work directly supports better access to preventive and chronic care for patients nationwide

  • You thrive in a tech-forward, fast-growing environment where innovation and continuous improvement are part of the daily rhythm

  • You enjoy working independently in a remote setting while staying connected to a collaborative, purpose-driven team

  • You’re naturally curious, proactive, and eager to contribute feedback and shape evolving processes

  • Most of all, you value flexibility, accountability, and being part of a company that’s reimagining how healthcare reaches people where they are
