Clinical Manager - Respiratory

We are seeking an innovative Clinical Operations Manager to partner with the Director of Respiratory Care to lead a team of skilled respiratory therapists. This role is ideal for a respiratory leader who enjoys collaborating with physicians, developing staff, leading quality initiatives, and helping build the future of respiratory services.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Partner with the respiratory leadership team to drive operational and clinical growth

• Lead departmental quality improvement projects

• Oversee CLIA and CAP compliance for the blood gas laboratory, ensuring regulatory readiness

• Coach, mentor, and develop respiratory therapists while fostering a culture of accountability

• Represent respiratory care on hospital committees and interdisciplinary workgroups

• Assist with departmental budgeting, productivity, and new equipment evaluation

• Review and create hospital policies in accordance with accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

•  Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy; NBRC certification; BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certified; and current Georgia licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

• Current state respiratory care license

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

• Leadership experience in an acute care hospital

• Experience with CLIA and CAP accreditation

• NICU or critical care leadership experience preferred
