Job Description – Syria
Title: Cleaner
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Location: Damascus office.
Position Description: The Cleaner’s primary responsibility is to maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment for employees and their guests.
Responsibilities:
- Handling the refreshments for the office visitors.
- Cleaning and sanitation of offices and lounge flooring;
- Unload trash baskets daily;
- Clean tables and the desks using the proper furniture cleaning materials;
- Clean chairs using the proper furniture cleaning materials;
- Dust the office using the proper cleaning tools;
- Clean the office cabinets & cupboards using the proper cleaning materials;
- Clean the kitchen to include pots, utensils, and floor, using the proper cleaning materials;
- Clean the toilets daily and whenever necessary during working hours;
- Inform the supervisor of required housekeeping supply levels to ensure proper stock is maintained, with checking the expiry date of materials received and their applicability to usage.
- Keep the appearance of the office acceptable by keeping it clean at all times during the workday;
- Any other duties requested by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper;
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance;
- Customer-oriented and friendly;
- Prioritization and time management skills;
- Working quickly without compromising quality.
- Knowledge of workplace security and safety protocols
