About this role
Duties:
- Receives and responds to citizen requests/concerns.
- Prepares monthly and annual reports.
- Researches and maintains claim and lawsuit files.
- Performs radio communicator duties.
- Types letters, memos, and various forms.
- Performs all duties in a customer service orientated manner, adhering to all safety and board policies, regulations, or procedures.
- Must perform duties in a safe, professional, and courteous manner to promote a positive image of the Road Commission for Oakland County.
- Requires a daily schedule that supports RCOC hours of operation.
- Regular and predictable onsite job attendance is an essential function of this position.
Special Experience/Education
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Training in office procedures and clerical skills are required.
- A minimum of two (2) years of clerical and word processing experience is required.
- Must possess and maintain a valid State of Michigan Driver’s License.
Disclosure: This position is within a bargaining unit and the individual that holds this position is subject to the terms and conditions of the existing collective bargaining agreement.
