Currently, we are bidding for Metro Rail projects across India. The position of Chief Structures Designer (Underground) is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

• Lead and supervise the structural design of all underground works, including tunnels, underground stations, cross passages, and shafts.
• Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, architectural, MEP, systems, etc.) to integrate structural solutions with other engineering disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve complex design issues throughout the design and construction phases.
• Conduct design risk assessments, ensure constructability, and propose value engineering solutions where appropriate.
• Support project management with progress reporting, technical presentations, and stakeholder communication related to underground structural works

Profile/Skills

• Graduate in Civil with Post Graduation in Structures
• 20+ years in rail related major infrastructure project and designing UG tunneling/UG station in at least two metro projects.
