We are seeking an accomplished Chief Business Officer (CBO) with a strong track record of building and scaling businesses, owning large P&Ls, and driving sustainable revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have experience managing businesses with INR 700 Cr–INR 2,000 Cr revenue responsibility and a proven ability to build high-value enterprise relationships and recurring revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own overall business strategy, revenue growth, commercial performance, and P&L for a large-scale business.
- Drive business expansion and identify new growth opportunities across strategic markets and customer segments.
- Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies to accelerate revenue and profitability.
- Build, manage, and close large enterprise deals in the range of INR 15–20 Cr and beyond.
- Develop and maintain strong CXO-level relationships across key sectors including Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Manufacturing, and Consumer.
- Lead geographically distributed sales and business development teams, ensuring strong execution against revenue and growth objectives.
- Build businesses from 0 to 1, establishing market presence, customer relationships, sales channels, and scalable operating models.
- Develop and strengthen recurring revenue streams through strategic partnerships, enterprise accounts, and long-term customer relationships.
- Drive commercial discipline across pricing, margins, sales productivity, forecasting, and business performance.
- Partner with leadership teams to define long-term business strategy, investments, and growth priorities.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer success, profitable growth, and execution excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience owning and scaling businesses with INR 700 Cr–INR 2,000 Cr revenue responsibility.
- Strong P&L management and commercial acumen with a growth-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated success in closing large enterprise deals, preferably in the INR 15–20 Cr+ range.
- Experience leading large, geographically distributed sales and business teams.
- Strong network and established CXO-level relationships across India.
- Proven ability to build and scale a business from 0 to 1.
- Track record of developing sustainable and recurring revenue streams.
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
