Based on our highly regarded multi-national local client site (MARS Petcare) you will manage a small team that work around the clock, while working in a hands-on leadership role.  In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ordering food ingredients and planning menu.

Responsibilities include

  • Manage the kitchen and team 
  • Preparation, serving, and control of cooked and uncooked food
  • Training of staff and ensuring that staff follows HAACP Food Safety protocol 
  • Ordering, menu planning and compliance documentation
  • Menu planning & costing and wage control.

This role is Monday to Friday 6.30-2.00pm, salary offered is $86,970 package.  

To be successful, you’ll need: 

  • Australian Citizenship or, Full Australian working rights  
  • Trade Certificate, Certificate III in Commercial Cookery  
  • A SafeCheck advanced food safety certification or HACCP certification
  • Knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, GFS, Outlook)
