Short Description
The Critical Care Tech, under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients’ activities of daily living and supports the overall plan of care. This role involves direct communication with and support for the healthcare team, patients, and their families or significant others. The position requires maintaining high standards of professional ethics and contributing to the delivery of quality patient care within the organization.Overview
Pavilion 9 is a 30-bed cardiac medical/surgical and cardiac intermediate unit. Pavilion 9 staff care for complex cardiac patients including cardiac surgery patients, structural heart (TAVR), cardiac catheterization/coronary angioplasty, heart failure and other various cardiac processes. The Pavilion 9 nurses receive specialized training to care for our cardiac surgery populations.
