CDL-A Driver | Lightweight Freight | Home Weekly

Run consistent regional freight while getting back home each week. This Class A position averages 2,400–2,500 miles per week with lightweight, no-touch dry van freight throughout the eastern United States.

Drivers are typically out about 5½ days at a time, followed by a 34-hour reset at home.

$0.70 CPM

Typical weekly earnings average approximately $1,560–$1,625, with drivers averaging 2,400–2,500 miles per week.

Drivers who prefer to stay out longer may have opportunities to pick up additional miles based on freight availability.

A Look at the Fleet

This account primarily hauls lightweight consumer paper products, with no driver unloading required.

You'll have:

• No-touch dry van freight
• Drop-and-hook opportunities
• 2023–2025 International and Freightliner tractors
• Pet and rider programs available

Where You'll Run

Routes operate primarily east of Interstate 35, covering portions of the South, Midwest, and eastern United States.

No New York City deliveries.

Home Time

Plan on returning home weekly for a 34-hour reset.

Weekend home time is common, although the specific days at home can vary based on freight, dispatch, and where you finish your week.

Experience Needed

Drivers must have:

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 6 months of recent Class A tractor-trailer experience
• Ability to meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
• Ability to meet company hiring standards

• SAP Drivers: We have select regional and OTR opportunities available for drivers who have successfully completed the SAP program.
• Lease Purchase & Owner Operators: We also have lease-purchase and owner-operator opportunities available for qualified drivers. Ask about options available in your area.
