Responsibilities

The Catering Coordinator performs a wide variety of administrative and secretarial tasks, as well as servicing Catering corporate and social events. 

  Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following:  
  • Administrative support including answering phones, taking catering inquiries, assisting Catering Office.
  • Produce, update and distribute Catering Banquet Event Orders
  • Manage Calendars, Site Itinerary, and Lead on Pre-Planning Vendor Sites
  • Work with Banquets and Operational Departments executing events, on day of, and leading up to events
  • Ownership, Organize and maintain the departmental filing system
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

    • Qualifications

    • Five (5) years’ experience as an administrative assistant or office administrator with increasing responsibilities in a high-volume environment. Hotel knowledge preferred.
    • Exceptional customer service skills, superior interpersonal skills with an acute sense of detail.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
    • High school education or equivalent. College degree preferred.
    • Flexible schedule, weekends and holidays
    • Experience with Hospitality Software, and Microsoft Office Programs
