About the Job

As a Carpenter with Insurcomm Restoration, you will provide high-quality construction services to restore residential and commercial properties affected by damage. Your work helps return buildings to their pre-loss condition while delivering reliable craftsmanship and a positive client experience.

This role is hands-on and field-based, supporting restoration-based reconstruction projects for families, businesses, and disaster victims. Production managers will assign and coordinate tasks across job sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

What You'll Do

  • Perform carpentry and construction tasks on restoration and reconstruction job sites
  • Interpret written work orders and complete projects according to specifications
  • Perform framing, insulation, drywall installation, and painting
  • Complete demolition and preparation work as needed for reconstruction
  • Install siding, soffit, fascia, and gutters
  • Assist with roofing, masonry, and general construction tasks
  • Install cabinets, countertops, doors, and windows
  • Perform finish carpentry and general repair work
  • Assist with deodorization, cleaning, and pack-out services when needed
  • Complete break-and-enter repairs and other property restoration work
  • Use the appropriate tools and materials to complete projects efficiently and safely
  • Minimize material waste and ensure proper use of supplies
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
  • Deliver a positive client experience by demonstrating professionalism and strong customer service skills
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, technicians, and other team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team and business.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in restoration or reconstruction environments
  • Experience with multiple construction disciplines including framing, drywall, and finish carpentry
  • Minimum of 1 year of construction experience
