๐ Work Locations As this is a community-based role, you will be traveling to support clients within their local communities. We proudly provide high-quality care across Basildon and the surrounding areas, primarily covering:
- Brentwood, Billericay, Harlow, Langdon Hills, Pitsea, Havering, Redbridge, Wickford, and the surrounding communities.
๐ Access to a vehicle and a full driving licence are required due to the geographical nature of the role.
๐ท Competitive Pay & Travel Support We know that traveling between clients is a core part of community care, so we make sure you are fully supported and compensated for your time on the road!
- ๐ฐ Hourly Rate: ยฃ12.71 per hour
- โฑ๏ธ Paid Travel Time: You are paid for your travel time between visits (Travel Time Top-Up included!)
- โฝ Mileage Allowance: 28p per mile
โฐ Shift Patterns Designed for Real Life We know how important work-life balance is. Whether you need shifts that work around family life, or you are looking for full-time consistency, we offer flexible patterns to suit your lifestyle (full-time, part-time, weekdays, and weekends available):
- Day Shifts: 7:00/8:00 AM โ 3:00/4:00 PM
- Evening Shifts: 3:00/4:00 PM โ 10:00 PM
Job Description
๐ What Youโll Be Doing Youโll help vulnerable clients live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. Following personalised care plans designed to promote dignity and wellbeing, your responsibilities will include:
- ๐ง Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence support)
- ๐ Medication support * ๐ฒ Meal preparation and assistance
- ๐ Shopping and practical daily errands
- ๐งน Light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, cleaning)
- ๐ฌ Companionship and emotional support
Qualifications
๐ฆธ What Youโll Need (Besides a Cape!) You donโt need formal care experience! The skills youโve gained from raising a family, caring for loved ones, or running a household are exactly what makes a brilliant Care Professional. Full, paid training is provided. Weโre looking for:
- โ Genuine empathy, compassion, and respect for others
- โ Reliability and a naturally caring nature
- โ Willingness to learn new skills
- โ Great communication and a collaborative team spirit
- โ The right to work in the UK (Please note: As an employer, we are unfortunately unable to offer Visa sponsorship).
