Job Description:

  • Applies knowledge and skills pertaining to all diagnoses, procedures, medications, complications, and equipment associated with unit patient population.
  • Adheres to all pertinent regulatory standards, follows strict infection prevention precautions, and ensures medication safety.
  • Manages supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper functioning.
  • Promotes an exceptional patient experience through effective communication with patients, families, and visitors, including hourly rounding.
  • Utilizes appropriate techniques, verbiage, and resources in all interactions with patients to their level of understanding.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Ability to learn and apply computer-related applications and programs, including using electronic keyboards and other peripheral devices [Required]
    • Able to read, write, and speak conversational English [Required]
    • Organizational and multi-tasking skills [Required]
    • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required]
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and local, state, and national laws [Required]

    • Associate's of Nursing [Required]
    • Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$31.75 - $55.47
