A Network LAN/WAN Engineer is responsible for supporting, monitoring, and maintaining an organization's Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN network performance and availability.
Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, and switching issues.
Configure and support network devices such as routers, switches, and wireless access points.
Assist in network installation, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Monitor network alerts and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
Support VPN connectivity and remote access services.
Maintain network documentation, configurations, and asset inventory.
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution.
