About the Job
We are looking for a C# / WPF Developer with strong hands-on experience in desktop application development, debugging, troubleshooting and application maintenance. The role involves investigating customer-reported issues, performing root-cause analysis across a large codebase, reproducing issues, developing permanent fixes and ensuring application stability. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with unfamiliar code and collaborating with globally distributed engineering teams.

What You'll Do
  • Develop, maintain and troubleshoot C# / WPF Desktop Applications.
  • Investigate customer-reported issues, reproduce defects and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Debug large and established codebases, including modules developed by other teams.
  • Develop, test and validate permanent fixes and workarounds.
  • Write and maintain automated unit tests for fixes and regression coverage.
  • Document technical investigations, root causes, fixes and workarounds.
  • Collaborate with Customer Care, QA, Developers, Architects and global technical teams.
  • Participate in code reviews and structured issue triage and prioritization.

What We Seek In You
  • 3+ years of experience in C# / WPF Desktop Application Development.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in C# and WPF.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across large and unfamiliar codebases.
  • Good understanding of MVVM, Dependency Injection and Design Patterns.
  • Experience with NUnit, xUnit or similar unit testing frameworks.
  • Strong skills in Root Cause Analysis, problem solving and defect investigation.
  • Experience with Git/source control and ticketing or issue-tracking systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with global teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Support, Sustaining Engineering or Maintenance-focused Development.
  • Experience with Contact Center or Enterprise Desktop Applications.
  • Familiarity with Lab/Test Environment Setup and Issue Reproduction.
  • Experience working with Globally Distributed Engineering Teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience handling production issues and customer escalations.
