Join Our Team as a Business Immigration Attorney at Axiom

Location: Redmond, WA (preferred), Remote available

We are seeking a Business Immigration Attorney to support our client, a F500 tech company. In this role, you will provide strategic legal advice to employees across organizations and levels on complex U.S. business immigration matters. You will contribute to high-volume U.S. business immigration operations, providing practical legal guidance, supporting immigration filings, and helping ensure compliance. 

Responsibilities:

• Providing high-volume, strategic legal advice to visa-dependent employees and business groups on case-specific and complex U.S. immigration matters, including I-9 and E-Verify.
• Overseeing the preparation and filing of non-immigrant and immigrant petitions and applications.
• Supporting legal compliance in connection with immigration petitions and applications.
• Advising on a full suite of non-immigrant and immigrant visa processes, including H-1B, L-1, TN, PERM, and EB-1 categories.
• Conducting legal research related to immigration law and summarizing findings in complete and concise legal memoranda.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of business immigration experience at a law firm, including high-volume work for technology clients and experience with H-1B, L-1, TN, PERM, and EB-1 processes.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. business immigration law and compliance matters, including I-9 and E-Verify, with proven legal research and advisory capabilities.
• Excellent communication, technology, project management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal issues.
• Juris Doctor or international equivalent degree and an active license to practice law in a jurisdiction, with the ability to meet applicable admission requirements.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience providing business immigration counsel to technology clients.
• Experience managing high-volume immigration matters while collaborating with colleagues and outside counsel.

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.  Employees may be eligible for additional benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance; paid holidays and PTO; flexible work arrangements; and professional development opportunities and tools.
