Are you a sales professional ready to make a real difference in healthcare, homecare, and aged care? At Air Liquide Healthcare, we know that your personal growth helps drive our innovation. As a global leader in medical gases, technologies, and hospital-to-home services, we work alongside healthcare professionals to deliver life-changing care to patients every day.

We have an exciting 12-month contract opening for a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our growth in the Home Oxygen and Aged Care markets. Covering Victoria and Tasmania, you will combine consultative selling with strong relationship-building to expand our business and improve patient outcomes.

This role is based in Melbourne, VIC.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

In this independent sales role, you will connect medical solutions with key state-level partners. Your work will focus on four key areas:

  • Territory Growth & Sales Strategy: Grow our business across VIC and TAS. Use Air Liquide’s structured sales approach to understand customer needs, present tailored medical gas and equipment solutions, and manage contracts using internal tools and CRM platforms.

  • Relationship Building & Tenders: Build strong, trust-based relationships with state departments, health agencies, and key decision-makers across public and private tenders. Actively participate in tender applications, contract renewals, and industry events.

  • Training & Safety Leadership: Organize and run hands-on training for healthcare staff and clients on how to safely use medical gas systems, cylinders, and specialized equipment. Champion a safety-first mindset across all customer sites.

  • Team Collaboration & Market Insights: Work closely with internal operations, planning, and customer service teams to onboard new clients, handle billing, and resolve issues. Gather market insights to help guide regional sales and marketing plans.

Are you a MATCH?

We are looking for a clear communicator and self-starter who is passionate about sales and helping others in healthcare. You will bring:

  • Sales Experience: 2–5 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets.

  • Healthcare Interest: Enthusiasm for working in healthcare (prior experience with nursing homes, aged care facilities, or health providers is a strong plus).

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Experience working with and selling to procurement teams across different commercial industries.

  • Technical & Digital Skills: Ability to learn and demonstrate medical equipment easily, along with solid skills in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and CRM tools.

  • Self-Starter Mindset: Ability to manage your own schedule, prioritize sales calls, and guide deals through to completion.

  • Travel Readiness: Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel between VIC and TAS about once a month.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Package: 12-month fixed-term contract with a competitive base salary, sales bonuses, company vehicle or allowance, and fully covered Salary Continuance Insurance.

  • Flexibility & Benefits: Superannuation salary sacrifice, novated leasing, and employee support programs.

  • Health & Wellbeing: Private health insurance discounts, health screenings, and 24/7 confidential Employee Assistance Program support.

  • Exclusive Savings: Access to our corporate employee benefits portal featuring discounts across 350+ major Australian retailers and discounts on Air Liquide Healthcare products and services.

  • Global Opportunities: Access to national and international career paths across 60+ countries as part of the Air Liquide Group.
