Job Description

🎯 Your Mission
As a Buyer Hôtels Portugal, you will take full ownership of one of our most strategic European destinations.
Based at our headquarters in Aix-en-Provence, you will develop, grow and manage our hotel portfolio across mainland Portugal and its border regions, with a strong focus on the Algarve, our biggest volume market in the country.
It's a sourcing & growth mission for someone who thrives in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment. You'll be driving our largest portfolio in Portugal: the highest number of hotels, the highest volumes, the most complex mix of direct contracting and DMC partnerships.
You'll be the key point of contact for all our hotel partners across the destination. Their relationship with Voyage Privé runs through you. 🔑      

Key Responsibilities
• Own and grow the Portuguese hotel portfolio across all regions (mainland, border areas, Algarve), excluding Madeira, Azores, Porto & Lisboa.
• Source new hotel partners and diversify the offer: resorts, boutique properties, leisure hotels, regional gems
• Negotiate exclusive campaigns with hotel partners to hit ambitious revenue targets
• Manage a mixed portfolio: balance direct contracting relationships and DMC partnerships effectively
• Be the face of Voyage Privé on the ground: pitch, onboard and build lasting relationships — you're comfortable walking into a GM's office cold
• Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Content, Marketing) to maximize campaign performance and slot allocation
• Monitor market dynamics (seasonality, ADR pressure, competitive landscape) and build proactive action plans
• Travel regularly to meet partners across Portugal and represent VP at key industry events

Qualifications

💡 What We're Looking For

We're looking for a hungry, structured, and relentless profile, someone who sees Portugal not as a territory to manage, but as a market to conquer.

• Minimum 3 years' experience in hotel contracting, tour operating, or hospitality procurement
• Strong sourcing drive: comfortable opening new partnerships from scratch, not just managing existing ones
• Deep knowledge of the Portuguese hospitality market, existing contacts with local hoteliers and DMCs is a strong plus
• Portuguese speaker strongly preferred, navigating the local market with ease is a real advantage
• Comfortable managing a complex portfolio: direct contracts and DMC relationships in parallel
• Negotiation skills at senior level: ease in dealing with GMs, Revenue Managers, and regional directors
• Data-driven and structured: comfortable reading performance data, identifying gaps, and building action plans
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Portugal to meet partners on the ground
