Bryden pi - Market Development Executive

Bryden pi Limited is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the following position in the Food and Grocery Division:

                    MARKET DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

The incumbent will be responsible for managing and establishing sales territories, setting and achieving sales targets, analyzing sales statistics and helping to grow the business. The incumbent is a key member of the organization and will be expected to be a great communicator together with the ability to establish and maintain relationships both internally and externally.

Some Main Responsibilities include: 

• Administer all sales activities for all export products of the company and ensure achievement of all export sales and gross margin targets
• Assist in preparation of territory sales, advertising and travel budgets 
• Identify opportunities for sales growth in new and existing markets
• Preparation of dossiers for the registration of products based on requirement of relevant authorities in each market
• Design required marketing and sales program for assigned territory in collaboration with distributors and ensure same is successfully implemented
• Develop appropriate pricing models for each market and conduct regular price review and audits to ensure optimal price and profitability 
• Maintain knowledge on all competitor activities in each market 
• Maintain all company distributors for all assigned territories and perform regular visits 
• Recommend appropriate distributors for all assigned region
• Prepare all contracts with distributors in accordance with all state regulations 
• Implement new product launches in assigned territory 
• Maintain knowledge on all product range and develop training programs for product training as required 
• Participate in various exhibitions and seminars to showcase product portfolio in an effort to achieve new business 
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure all legal and regulatory requirements for the importation and sale of products are satisfied 
• Manage and evaluate all stock and sales reports as submitted by distributors to ensure adequate stock cover and take appropriate action where necessary.
• Prepare rolling sales forecast by SKU for production planning for adequate stock cover 
• Maintain professional relationships with all customers and distributors and ensure satisfaction with all company products and services.
• Ensure preparation of market visit reports in a timely manner
• Perform other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company

Qualification, Experience and Requirement: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
• A minimum of four (4) years sales and marketing at least 2 of which should be in export sales. 
• Fluency in Spanish an asset.
• Or relevant combination of training and experience
• A valid Police Certificate of Good Character
