  • Act as the escalation point during live issues, making calm, informed decisions to resolve problems and minimise disruption
  • Improve workflows, documentation, and processes to lift consistency, quality control, and operational efficiency

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience leading a team in a live broadcast, MCR, or media operations environment, with clear responsibility for performance, development, and day-to-day operations
  • Strong hands-on capability across broadcast systems, MCR workflows, and live content delivery
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure, troubleshoot issues, and make sound operational decisions in real time
  • Confidence managing shift-based operations, with a clear understanding of prioritisation, team coordination, and delivery standards

Great to Have

These are a bonus, so if you don’t have them all, we’d still like to hear from you.

  • Understanding of end-to-end production workflows and outside broadcast environments
  • Experience within sports, racing, or live event broadcasting
  • Familiarity with working across multiple broadcast brands or channels

What You’ll Gain

You’ll join a connected, high-energy environment where sport, entertainment, collaboration, and momentum are part of the everyday.

  • Reward: Competitive pay & great perks, including retailer discounts
  • Flexibility: Personal days off to balance life and work
  • Growth: Build capability in team leadership, broadcast operations management, and process improvement across MCR, Presentation, and Media
  • Exposure: Work across Trackside, Sport Nation, and live racing and sports broadcasts, collaborating with production, OB teams, and external broadcast partners
  • People: A close-knit, experienced broadcast team that values hands-on leadership, clear communication, and working side-by-side during live operations
  • Perks: Wellbeing support, Southern Cross Health Insurance, free breakfast and snacks, and an office worth showing up to - think pool table, sports on TVs, and a modern space designed for you
