We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Branch Manager – Sales to drive business growth, manage branch sales operations, and lead a high-performing sales team. The role involves achieving business targets through effective customer acquisition, team management, channel development, and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve branch sales targets for life insurance products, premium, revenue, and new business.
• Recruit, train, coach, and manage the branch sales team and insurance advisors/agents.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase customer acquisition and business conversion.
• Generate business through direct sales, agency/agent channels, banca, and other distribution channels, as applicable.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, agents, intermediaries, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales performance and take corrective actions to achieve targets.
• Drive lead generation, prospecting, sales meetings, follow-ups, and policy conversions.
• Ensure effective cross-selling and up-selling of life insurance products.
• Conduct regular sales reviews and performance meetings with the team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical sales practices.
• Improve persistency, renewal performance, customer retention, and overall branch profitability.
• Identify market opportunities and develop local business strategies based on competition and customer needs.
• Coordinate with operations, underwriting, claims, and other internal teams for smooth customer servicing.
• Prepare and present branch performance reports to senior management.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of sales experience in Life Insurance/BFSI, with at least 1–2 years in a team-leadership or branch-management role. Candidates with a proven track record of achieving sales targets, building sales teams, and managing insurance distribution channels will be preferred.
